Escalation trees that survive group chats

By Daniel Ryu

Escalation trees that survive group chats

Group chats are great for leaves, terrible for trunks. We watched teams blur escalation steps within two weeks when the authoritative tree lived only online. Printing the Distributor sync visit script escalation table and the Cold vault atlas pause branches slowed chaos measurably.

Assign one owner to version numbers. When branches change, issue a sticker, not a paragraph in chat. Photograph the sticker on the cart—this keeps external reviewers aligned.

Be explicit about what is not included: these tools do not replace stakeholder sign-off from your commercial desk; they keep field evidence legible until that desk responds.
